CARBONDALE – A rollover crash was reported shortly after 2 Friday afternoon at the intersection of East Main Street and North Giant City Road in Carbondale.

Carbondale Police say a vehicle going east on East Main swerved out of its traffic lane and sideswiped another vehicle before rolling over. Traffic was reduced to one lane for eastbound traffic on East Main during the crash investigation.

A passenger in the vehicle that rolled over was ejected and sustained a non-life-threatening injury. They were taken by ambulance to the emergency room for treatment. The driver of the vehicle that rolled over was cited for Improper Lane Use and Operation of an Uninsured Motor Vehicle. The investigation remains active and ongoing.
