SHAWNEETOWN – Gallatin County Clerk and Recorder Deanna Bryant urges county residents to not waste their money with a company purportedly named “Property Site” regarding deed notices.

Bryant posted on Facebook that county residents have received official looking recorded deed notices from this purported company suggesting they can get their property assessment profile, which included a complimentary copy of their current deed, for $123.

Bryant says you can get a copy of your deed at no cost from the Clerk and Recorder’s office.
