METROPOLIS – A Tennessee man was arrested by Metropolis Police Sunday for cheating at gambling at Harrah’s Casino.

Metropolis Police say officers were called after the casino learned that 62-year-old Ellis Quinn Jr. of Memphis was caught increasing his bets after the dice game was over 10 times swindling the casino out of $3,000.

Police ran a check on Quinn and learned he had a warrant out of Colorado for a gambling violation with nationwide extradition. Ellis was arrested, cited for Cheating at Gambling and lodged in the Massac County Detention Center.
