HERRIN – Two men are lodged in the Williamson County Jail after the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office received several reports Wednesday alerting them to the presence of social media posts and ultimately the location of two registered sex offenders living within 500 feet of a Herrin school.

Deputies completed sex offender compliance checks on Michael S. Buen and Andrew J. Quintana. They were able to determine that both men were living within 500 feet of a school.

Both men were arrested a few hours apart in Herrin and cited for Registered Sex Offender residing within 500 feet of a school. They were then taken to jail.
