SOUTHERN ILLINOIS – Ronnie Wilford Shaw, 58, passed away on August 7, 2024, at his home.

Ronnie was born in Herrin, IL, on April 10, 1966, the son of Roy Wilford & Mary Ruth (Couch) Shaw.

He adored his children and grandchildren. He loved camping, fishing, and boating. He always said what he thought at all times and people loved him for that.

Ronnie is survived by his:

4 Children: Michele Shaw, Stephanie Salatas & husband Philip, David Hollon & fiancée Traci Staley, Patsy Hollon

Grandchildren: Alexis, Waylyn, Landen, Nick, Brantley, Hailie, Hailey, Quentin, Preston, Camaron, Constance, & Collin.

2 Brothers: Ricky Shaw & Robert Shaw

Mr. Shaw was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother, Randy Shaw.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, August 15th, at the Morton & Johnston Funeral Home in Benton. Burial will be in the Masonic & Odd Fellows Cemetery in Benton. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
