METRPOLIS – The Metropolis Police Department released the following information on Monday, July 29, 2024.
On July 23, 2024, a Metropolis officer observed Jade S. Calmese, 31, of Metropolis walking down Filmore at East 18th Street. The officer was aware that she was wanted on warrants. The warrants were issued by Massac County for FTA-Criminal Trespass to Property and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She was arrested and lodged in the Massac County Detention Center.
On July 23, 2024, Metropolis officers were called to a disturbance at a residence in the Fairmont Apartments on East 12th Street. Officers learned that Dwane Dillon Jr. was causing problems. Dillon had been previously trespassed from Massac County Housing. Dillon was arrested and charged with Criminal Trespass to State Supported Property. He was released on a notice to appear.
